We have experience and passion for supporting students in finding their pose rather than THE pose. With that we teach to a wide-range of students and the retreat will be accessible to people who are new to yoga. If you have any concerns or questions, don’t hesitate to talk with us and ask any questions you have.

We will bring blankets and blocks as props. With that, if you have your own that you’d like to use you’re welcome to bring them along. As far as we’re concerned, one can never have too many props.

Accommodations 

Palmquists’ farm is known for its cozy & comfortable cabins. You’ll have a private room (or shared if you prefer, just let us know that in your submission form.)

The cabins are spacious with shared living rooms and gathering areas that include a fireplace as well as a private bathroom which includes a shower. Note that while it’s a private bathroom, it will be used by all guests with rooms in that same cabin.
 

Dining

Mom & Dad Palmquist are also well known for their abundant & delicious meals prepared with love on site at the farm. Meals will be vegetarian with the exception of Friday evening where there will be vegetarian and meat options.

** The Farm is not able to prepare vegan meals. We know it’s not easy to be vegan in a carnivorous world and will excitedly support you in being on the retreat with us. There is a refrigerator and microwave in each cabin and we’ll make it as easy as we can for you to bring food with you for the weekend.

** Gluten free options can be available but please note that we are not able to assure that there is absolutely no gluten as all meals are prepared in the same kitchen.

Palmquists’ Farm is a located in northern Wisconsin, a 3&1/2 hour drive from the Twin Cities.

Nature

Palmquists’ farm is on 800 private acres of forest and farmland. There are hiking and biking trails, lakes, a pond and streams to explore.

A small bag/purse/backpack. We’ll walk on the trails on the farm, bring along something to carry small items; water bottle, snacks, or a journal.

Bath towels: one for yoga class and as many as you need for personal
use. Palmquist Farm does not provide towels. We’ll use the one for
class as an extra prop at times. Any towel will do.
